I like the vibe of this place and think I'll be visiting a lot more!
We all know that Afflecks is quirky and is hipster paradise, with all the little vintage and out there shops, but Black Milk is a little hidden 'cereal cafe' that also deserve a mention!
It's a comfy no thrills place that isn't going to win any Michelin stars but the shakes and cereal options are enough to get any sweet tooth excited!
I'll be back for another guilty pleasure soon. -

Black milk offers some great desserts in a place where they are simply hard to come by. Really enjoyed the strawberry Nutella waffle I shared with my son. Jaime was great to us and offers some suggestions and encouraged us to return again. We hope to make it back before our departure. I would recommend this place for a great dessert item.

The atmosphere was not v good. The next stores next to this place was tattoo and night sexy dress .
Only 2 persona work, and it was really busy Sunday. Slow service but delicious milkshake , my kids really like it.
It would be better if they serve the milkshake with plate under the cup not to spoil the table and dirty the hands. -

I really wanted to like this place. I wanted to like it because it's silly,fun & enjoyable eating cereal at any time of the day.
It suits well in the NQ, especially in Afflecks but when I entered around 3ish pm there were just 3 customers. To be honest, I expected a long queue of hipsters...
Anyway, what irked me was the guy who ran it - hm, quite disappointed that he wasn't a happy chappy after I greeted him with a big smile. Either he was just shocked that he expected more customers on opening day or he hated this place.
I had the Lion Cereal (which he recommended me) without toppings - before I continue with my review I would like to mention that before I ordered the cereal I took a picture of their poster which was on the window display and tweeted to my friends therfore you will get a free bowl of cereal. So basically I showed him my tweet and he didn't look happy at all. Weird!
However, I sat down, ate my cereal and wasn't pleased with their customer service. Most annoying part off this experience that he walked towards the poster - which was behind me - and ripped it off.
Yeah, guys you need to chillax. Not sure if I will be back again and give them a second chance...or I'm just not their target audience.
